United Way of Effingham County & County Fair
We kicked off the United Way of Effingham County's 2021-2022 campaign with a $4,700 donation. We're also proud to support Effingham County Fair week and local 4-H projects. We also sponsor fun events like the Effingham County Fair Youth Livestock Auction!
Trade & Skills Day 2022
We enjoyed the opportunity to introduce the young men and women in our community to the automotive industry and the job opportunities available to them during Trade & Skills Day 2022!
"Cram the Car" with HSHS Home Care & Hospice Illinois
We partnered with HSHS Home Care & Hospice Illinois to "CRAM THE CAR" with 440 pounds of food for the Catholic Charities food pantry. We also collected $660 in cash donations in recognition of National Canned Food Month!
Community Blood Drive
Every March and September, we host a Community Blood Drive. Thank you to all our employees and everyone in the community who participated!
Effingham Girl Scouts & Hometown Heroes
Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota is proud to support Effingham Girl Scout Troop #2138 and the HometownHeroes program. This is a great way to thank essential workers for their sacrifices!
UNIT 40 Education Scholarship
The UNIT 40 Education Foundation scholarship program makes significant investments in young people in our area. Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota is more than proud to donate a yearly scholarship. This year's Dan Hecht Business Scholarship recipient is Emily Zhao!
Effingham Catholic Charities
We helped raise money for Effingham Catholic Charities "PACK THE BUS" event through a "COIN DRIVE." With this, we were able to donate money toward school supplies for the Ramblin' Rose Bus. The Dan Hecht Toyota "Thirst Responders" also had a blast at the Catholic Charities Bartending Event!
2022 Little Miss -- People's Choice at the 2022 Greenup Fall Festival
We were more than happy to sponsor Charlee Carlen, daughter of our service technician Clint Carlen, who was crowned the 2022 Little Miss -- People's Choice at the 2022 Greenup Fall Festival.

Breast Cancer Awareness
Each October, Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota and our employees host multiple fundraising events throughout the month to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This past year, we were able to raise $1,775, with those funds directly awarded to the HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital Effingham Women's Wellness Center.
FISH & Catholic Charities Christmas Store Kids Coat Drive
Dan Hecht Chevrolet Toyota employees contributed coats, hats and mittens in our Kids Coat Drive and held a Friday Jeans Day Fundraiser. We then presented our donation toward the FISH & Catholic Charities Christmas Store -- Effingham County at The X and KJ A-THON at 979 XFM!
